EWA GSI’s Miniaturization Design Centerspecializes in design, production, testing, packaging, and integration of custom and low volume production chipsets. These chipsets can be used by many different government agencies to include the Department of Defense and the intelligence community, and even commercial industries. Center for National Response
EWA GSI, in collaboration with other companies, supports the Center for National Response (CNR) which is a unique, one-of-a-kind training facility that provides realistic and challenging exercises for military first responders. There is no other place in the country that offers this kind of environment for First Responders. This setting allows response teams to practice their techniques and experiment with new procedures and equipment without alarming the public or disrupting any commercial or public activities.
The Center for National Response (CNR) is an operational component of the JITC-East that is a National Guard training activity operated by the Chief, National Guard Bureau and the Adjutant General of West Virginia.

Rapid Prototyping Laboratory
EWA GSI’s rapid prototyping laboratory addresses quick turn requirements for its customers and staffed with in-house engineering experts with backgrounds in mechanical engineering, and RF, digital and analog software. Circuit simulation, schematic capture, board layout, and mechanical drawings are supported by a full range of 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and on-site equipment and stocks are suitable for light mechanical designs and fabrications. Our engineers routinely provide solutions in less than 90 days.

Secure Engineering Labs
EWA GSI offers a multitude of engineering capabilities in our secure engineering labs. These labs are able to provide engineering services ranging from concept development, R&D, to complete life-cycle solutions. These facilities offer these services from secret to Top Secret clearance levels. Also, we manage three accredited TS SCI facilities in order to provide the best service possible.

Software Development Laboratories
EWA GSI operates multiple software development labs. Engineers develop software in a process controlled environment for multiple platforms and operating systems using various languages in compliance with recognized government and commercial standards. Our software engineers are experienced in a broad array of software technologies. The software labs can provide software solutions from unclassified to Top Secret clearance levels.

Wireless Systems Laboratory
EWA GSI operates a Wireless Center of Excellence (CoE) that provides systems engineering and integration within the IEEE 802 wireless protocols. Since the Wireless CoE inception, EWA GSI has developed and supported multiple wireless based systems for government customers. These systems range from high data rate networks using industry wireless standards to miniaturized RFID devices employing proprietary wireless solutions for long battery life. While the U.S. Government is the CoE’s primary customer, the CoE team’s expertise and technologies are available for non-Government projects within the company.
