EWA Government Systems, Inc. (EWA GSI) Welcomes Terrence K. Clark as Executive Director, T&E and Training Division

HERNDON, Virginia, February 8, 2016 – EWA GSI, a leader in Electronic Warfare (EW), announced the appointment of Terrence ‘Terry’ Clark as Executive Director of the Test & Evaluation and Training Division.

With over 36 years of technical and management experience; Mr. Clark draws upon a distinguished career as a civilian employee in the Department of Defense, including over 15 years of leadership in the Senior Executive Service, retiring as the Director, Range Department, Naval Air Systems Command.

“We welcome Terry’s technical experience and strategic organizational leadership to EWA GSI,” said Mr. Brian Moore, President of GSI. “As Executive Director of our T&E Division, he will be responsible for the continued development of our T&E efforts to support a full spectrum of DoD requirements at the Test Ranges.” Mr. Clark is a well respected T&E professional with a wealth of talent and knowledge. His keen insight and results-oriented, strategic approach will be instrumental in positioning EWA GSI to be part of the solution to many challenges that face our national assets.”

Earlier in his career, Mr. Clark held the positions of Director, Software Engineering for the Naval Air Systems Command; and Director for EW, and Head of the Avionics Department at Naval Air Systems Command-Weapons Division. He received a Master of Science in Business Organizational Management from the University of LaVerne; has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University; and graduated from the Graduate School of Management (University of California Los Angeles), as well as the DoD Executive Leadership Development Program. Mr. Clark received the Navy Meritorious Civilian Service Award in 1995. Mr. Clark is a member of the Strategic Planning Group for the Regional Defense Partnership for the 21st Century, Association of Old Crows, and the International Test and Evaluation Association.

 

EWA GSI Paper Awarded 3rd Place

EWA GSI co-authored a paper that was recently awarded 3rd place by the Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA) and selected to be presented at the 60th Annual ATCA Conference and Exposition. The paper titled “Who’s in Control? Securing Commercial Unmanned Aerial Systems Command and Control – A Methodology and Way Ahead” was a collaborative effort between Greg Carter (EWA GSI), Dr. Terry Hofecker (Demeter), and Dr. Rusty Baldwin (Riverside Research). Dr. Baldwin presented the paper and Dr. Lester Foster was on hand to represent EWA GSI. The conference, which is the largest ATC conference in the Americas, was held in National Harbor, Maryland and boasted over 3,000 participants from over 40 different countries. The paper was also briefed at the Ohio UAS Conference in August of this year.
